Deep-Dive Classes

Our students focus on just two “deep dive” courses each month, rotating through core curricular areas of Science, History, Art, and Literature. Our longer class periods minimize homework, allowing students to prioritize family time and home responsibilities.

Liberal Arts Education

The root of the word “Education” comes from a Latin word meaning “to draw forth.” We draw our students toward a life of freedom and liberty by practicing the ancient Liberal Arts: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric.

Convocation

We meet for Convocation every day as a whole school. Faculty and guest speakers deliver lecture series on a variety of topics. These have included current events, The Great Books, readings from Plutarch's Lives, excerpts from Pascal's Pensees, and more.

Small Class Size

With an average class size of 10 students, our faculty can focus on the specific abilities, needs, and growth of each individual.

Classrooms Everywhere​

Throughout the year, our school participates in activities ranging from field trips and art classes to community service opportunities. One of our favorite traditions is visiting the annual Shakespeare Festival!
